Google buys Youtube

To the tune of $1.65 billion. Well, that's just chump-change compared to what they're actually worth, which is roughly about $130 billion. And it's like your storage space in GMail. It keeps growing and growing and growing... So what if Google buys Youtube? Google has expanded their services instantly by providing online videos. And they don't even have to come up with original concepts. Most of the videos are uploads from users who don't have anything much to do. First, MySpace, then YouTube. Only thing left for Google to do is develop their own Google OS. Something to rival the Mac, so that it would convincingly be better than Windows. Hmmm. The idea may not be far off though. What else haven't they thought about?

Hey guys,
I have an iMac G5 running tiger 10.4.7 and I an having a wierd problem. Whenever I go to a site that has an embedded youtube, flash or some kind of video, there is no sound. If it a quicktime file there is no problem. There is not sound no matter what broswer I use, firefox, camino, safari, or shiira. And keep in mind that about a week ago I was not having this issue.

Help Would be awesome
Thanks!

Aside from installing audio codecs, I would also suggest that you try calling Apple about it. That would be the extent of what I know about Macs and playing streaming media.

That's probably the same issue with Linux. Remember OS X is unix based. :) I also suggest calling apple about it :D
