PLDT: Developing New Ways
...of Suckiness.
Ever since I cancelled my DSL subscription from PLDT last March and transferred to myDestiny's Cable Internet Service, everything was peachy.
Or so I thought. The succeeding month's PLDT billing came and lo and behold, I was still charged for the DSL service. I conferred with a rep - whom I think had cursed me when she placed me on mute, or I'm just being paranoid - and assured me that my line will not be disconnected and I just have to pay the phone service. That's cool. Then I hung up.
The next month's PLDT billing came, and I still get charged for the DSL service. I called them up again, and again, I was assured that my phone line will not be disconnected as long as I pay the phone service fees. They then reassured me that the billing discrepancies will be resolved and the real charges will be reflected on the next invoice. Fine.
Then the next month's PLDT billing came. Guess what? I'm still being charged for the CANCELLED DSL service. Routinely, I called them up to tell them they screwed up with the billing again. Then I get the usual "Your billing discrepancies will be resolved and the correct charges will reflect on the next invoice. All you need to pay is the phone service fees." Right.
Up to this day, PLDT is still charging me for a cancelled DSL service. Are you guys just trying to make me call you? Do you PLDT guys want to make customers keep calling you so that there is a reason for you to pay your representatives? I know how lovely, or unlovely, my voice is (as if), but please, don't you have anything better to do? Like, IMPROVE YOUR DSL CONNECTIVITY BY BEING PROACTIVE AND MAKE YOUR ARROGANTLY HYPED-UP SPEEDS A REALITY?
All I want is that PLDT get their act together and deliver quality service. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, no.
Bastards.
